Terms and policies

Prices

All prices online apply for internet purchases only; extra charges may apply instore on selected items due to the service provided. Products purchased online and taken to a Chiquel salon for styling will incur a cost.

Currency

All prices are in Australian Dollars ($AU) and are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (G.S.T.).

COLOUR

Please keep in mind, colour samples should be used as a guide only. Actual colour may vary. Chiquel is not responsible for colour recommendations made by representatives not meeting customer expectations. The description of a colour is given as accurately as possible, but is subject to opinion person-to-person.

ORDER PROCESSING AND DELIVERY

Please note we try our best to stock all the most popular styles and colours in store which will be shipped out for delivery 24-48 hours of order placement. If we do not have the particular colour or style of your item(s) please allow approx. 5-10 business days (excluding public holidays and delivery times) for process of order.

There will be NO notification if your item(s) will need to take 5-10 business days to be received, please contact info@chiquel.com.au for order status. If your item is on back order an email will be sent after order placement to notify you.

• Domestic: > $9.95 flat free shipment via Australia registered post.
* Outer regions can occur a longer shipment time
• International: >$55.95 via Australia registered post.
* we are not responsible for any duties, taxes, or additional charges that may be charged by Customs for any International deliveries.

In store purchase

Please choose carefully. There is no refund on wigs/hairpieces/extensions or custom designed pieces due to change of choice. e.t.c colour or style. If an item(s) is not available at the Chiquel store and a special order is requested a 50% deposit fee will be charged. On the shipment of the item(s) the rest of the money owing will be received before the item is released. Items will only be held for a period of 3 months, if not picked up within the 3 month time frame the item will then will be returned back to the manufacturer and the 50% deposit fee will not be refundable and item(s) forfeit.

Phone orders

For phone ordering please contact us on 1300 921 941(AEST) between business hours. Confirmation of order must be emailed.

Back order

If a back order occurs on your item(s), you will be placed on a priority wait list. We will promptly ship item(s) upon arrival. In addition, we will inform and update by email with the estimated arrival date. If a back order item(s) are not received in a reasonable length of time, please email to orderstatus@chiquel.com.au.

Changes to order

A fee of $25.00 will automatically be charged for any changes or modifications you request to your order within 24 hours after the order is placed. This includes item, colour, payment, shipping, or coupon redemption changes. NO changes can be made after 24 hours of order placement.

TRACKING YOUR ORDER

Please email your order details to orders@chiquel.com.au for information on the status of your order.

REFUND

Chiquel understands that it is difficult buying online when you are unable to try selected item(s) for style or colour to suit your desired outcome. We offer 85% refund on the purchase price excluding postage if you are not 100% satisfied with the style or colour. All returns are on clients cost of postage and handling. For example, if your wig cost $100.00 then you will incur 15% restocking fee your, your total refund amount will be $85.00.

Eligible Refund

• Must be in perfect condition, factory standards, unaltered, unworn, undamaged, and with all tag(s) attached and in original packaging
• A restocking fee of 15% applies to all returned items

Ineligible refund

• Items not eligible for refund: custom design pieces, item tried on or worn on, no smell e.g. perfume, smoke e.t.c, wholesale orders, costume wigs, accessories, care products, beauty/makeup or sale items.

How to request a refund

• Customers must notify the problem and desire to refund. requests for refund must be made within 2 business days once the product has been received by postage. refunds must be clearly pre–authorised by chiquel. please contact on orderstatus@chiquel.com.au to obtain rma (return merchandise authorisation) number. without a rma the item(s) will incur a 50% unauthorised product fee. how ever the goods must be returned as per the eligible refund clause stated above.
• Items must be returned within 24 hours from the time you receive your rma number.
• Chiquel has the rights whether items have been misused or treated in any way.
• Items must be sent back via registered post, we take no responsibility for lost items.

CUSTOM DESIGN REFUND POLICY

Due to the specialty of the item(s), all sales are final on ALL custom lace front wigs and top pieces. We do not accept delivery of returned products. Please take your measurements and other options very carefully. We will make your custom piece according to your exact specifications. We are not responsible for wrong measurements taken or variances in colour caused by monitor settings.

Exchange

• One item per client per transaction.
• No restocking fee
• Any balance remaining after your exchange will be refunded into your account method you have payed with.
• Please note shipping charges will apply to your new order.
• Items must be sent back via registered post, we take no responsibility for lost items.

Eligible exchange

RETURNED PRODUCTS AND CANCELLATION FEE

For any shipments returned to us due to a bad address, refusal upon delivery, or cancellation after 24 hours of placing the order; there will be a 50% fee charged due and 85% to special custom orders which include lace front wigs and top pieces. This is due to specialty of the item(s). Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. There is an immediate 35% cancellation fee before the 24-hour mark, if you wish to cancel your order.

IN STORE PURCHASE

Credits are issued for in store purchase(s) only, not redeemable online. We do not issue any cash, check, or credit card refunds. Credits are only issued for 6 months only. To redeem store credit, you must ph. 1300 921 941or visit a Chiquel store. Gift certificates are only redeemable for purchase(s) instore only, not redeemable online.

IN STORE LAY BY CONDITIONS

Available in store only purchase(s)
> 8 weeks lay by completion > minimum 50% deposit required > fortnightly instalments are to be made > no refund for uncollected good(s) by final date
> original receipt must be presented for transaction

PAYMENT METHODS

We accept the following payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, PayPal

> Credit cards are charged upon order placement. If we are unable to fulfil our obligation to ship any order, we will refund the amount charged to the original credit card.

Your personal information is used exclusively for the purpose of fulfilling your order and making your buying experience a success. Strict guidelines are adhered to in order to keep your personal information private.

FRAUD AND THEFT

Credit card fraud and theft of our merchandise will be prosecuted.
